This piece is an 8 page zine about my relationship and struggles with femininity, queerness, and gender expression. The title relates to my urgency to fine a scapegoat, and blame anything other than myself. This title could also be a double entendre, hinting at the idea that society often designates queer people as scapegoats deserving of retribution.

Intaglio Etching Collage on Mulberry 22x30"
This piece is a collage of multiple intaglio prints of the same face. The same copper plate was burnished and re-carved each time, so that remains of the previous face would show through to the next. This conglomerate of facial features disorients the viewer and makes them wonder what this individual's face truly looks like.

Intaglio Prints with Mesh and Yarn
This piece is a series of intaglio prints printed from the same re-carved copper plate. Within one semester, I took time to redraw my face over and over and try to etch them continuously onto one plate. Each print has the remains of the last one, making for a confusing, non-realistic description of what I really look like. This concept is based on ideas of body dysmorphia and finding it hard to understand what your face truly looks like.

Subtitled "Night of the Living Deadline", this piece is about the crashing weight of college assignments akin to a swarm of zombies. Any aesthetic resemblance to design schools living or dead are PURELY coincidental...
